Conagrations were one of the major natural threats to order and internal security in the Kingdom of Poland. Government was forced to introducecomprehensive solutions against negative consequences of fres. One of thekey components of that solution was to implement harsh penal regulationsfor the arsonists. The aim of the article is to depict the ideas of protectionagainst fres and conagrations in penal regulations in the Kingdom of Poland
