In the study of workers of the gold ore processing plant in the dynamics of work shifts and shift work period, it was found that the interchangeable nature of labor leads to disruption of habitual biorhythms, more rapid development of fatigue and reduced mental performance. The reduction of physiological indicators for certain hours of work shifts justifies the need for maintaining regulated breaks in order to prevent professionally caused diseases and reduce the risk of industrial accidents.
