The article presents the phenomenon of the subculture of childhood in the modern network space using the example of several domestic and foreign social networks, resources and platforms. The relationship between the subculture of childhood and the dominant culture is analyzed. It also substantiates the modification of the teenager's leisure culture, its blurring in the network space. Considering popular social networks and services, the nature and format of participation in them of adolescent groups of the population, the linguistic code they use, as well as the educational potential of these network resources are analyzed. Comparative analysis of "adult" and "teenage" network communities is carried out on specific examples.
