This plant was first localized in Uzbekistan in 1996 after studying at the National University of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State Agrarian University. Today, stevia plantations are expanding in the country. For example, in the Surkhandarya region of the Shurchinsky district, the stevia-growing farm "Oloyoroksun" organizes and cultivates plantations on an area of 7 hectares. Stevia is a unique substitute for sugar and medicinal plants. Today, grass is widely used not only in the industrial production of many food products, but also in medicine. Thanks to stevia, stevosides and other biologically active substances, it has an antioxidant effect. It turned out that almost 300 species of plants grow in America, but only Stevia rebaudiana has a sweet taste. Eyo leaf is 10-15 times sweeter than regular sugar. Odin gr. listev stevii is equivalent to 25 g of sugar. Steivosides have immunomodulatory and antitumor effects.
