This article presents a new look at the problem of studying socio-psychological factors that affect conflict in an educational organization. It is shown that conflicts in relations between people, both in the personal and professional sphere, leave an imprint on the mental state of the individual in general and the psychological climate in the team in particular, which is reflected, first of all, on the quality, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of the professional organization as a whole. It is shown that the conflict in the organization is determined by the conscious behavior of one of the parties, which comes into conflict or opposition with the interests of the other party. A significant role in such difficult socio-psychological conditions is assigned to the head, who is directly included in this professional community. It is found that the manager, being in the center of any incident, should be able to solve the problem and transfer it from the category of destructive to the level of the problem.
