In the article the author examines the peculiarities of implementing pragmatic adaptation while translating interviews from Russian to English. In addition, there were identified the main types of pragmatic adaptation that the translator used in the process of translating the interviews. There were also described the main translation techniques needed to translate the pragmatics of the original text into English.
