This article discusses the static characteristics of membrane locking and regulating elements and to determine the static characteristics of flat and cylindrical membranes, a special device was developed and manufactured that allows you to record the deviation of the generatrix of the membrane when it is deformed from its original position. Theoretical and experimental studies of flat and cylindrical membrane shut-off and control elements were carried out, results were obtained, dependency graphs were constructed and conclusions were drawn.
