The paper analyzes the radiocarbon dates of the Middle Volga variant of the Volosovo cultural-historical community. Based on 21 C14 determinations, a conclusion is made about the existence of Eneolithic sites in the forest zone of the Middle Volga region in the range 4100–2800 BC with a probability of 95,4 % and 3950–3300 BC with a probability of 68,2 %. At the same time, it is pointed out that it is possible to correct the upper chronological boundary of the existence of culture.
