Equilateral cross-pendants with widening branches and three balls (disks) at the ends, known as the «Scandinavian type» crosses constitute one of the most well-known groups of Christian metalwork of the Late Viking Age. The paper presents 17 artifacts of this group, recently discovered at the sites of Suzdal’ Opolie with special insight into their morphology, manufacturing techniques and metal composition, as well as into their archaeological context.
