According to the results of the research, it was found that the optimal growth medium for biological pathogenic microorganisms is a fraction of activated zeolite with a size of 0-0.2 mm. This causes a change in the medium with an increase in the alkalinity index. A distinctive feature of the change in the concentration of hydrogen ions in various fractions of activated zeolite is established. Studies have shown that after the introduction of the zeolite in distilled water there is a change in hydrogen ion concentration. It was found that regardless of time and concentration, this indicator is preserved in all dilutions from 1:1 to 1: 10, with a pH>10. The smallest change in the pH of the solu-tion occurred in the 0.8-2.5 mm fraction, followed by a slight increase in other fractions.
