The aim of our research was to study the radioprotective efficacy of the radioprophylactic microbial polyantigen developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution FTsTRB-VNIVI on the body of intact and irradiated animals. The biological effect of the drug on the body of intact animals – white mice, white rats, rab-bits, and sheep – was evaluated. it was found that a single injection of the drug did not adversely affect animals. In this case, the hematological parameters of immunized animals did not have signif-icant differences from similar indicators of the control. In immunized animals, an increase in humor-al and cellular factors of immunity was noted. The introduction of the drug contributed to an increase in the survival of experimental labor-atory animals compared with the control by 70-75 %. For sheep, the excess was 66.6 %. Thus, the management of IPAG does not harm the animal organism, leads to an increase in immunity factors, and has a pronounced radioprotective effect.
