This quasi experimental trial was conducted to identify the effect of acupressure on blood glucose level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Purposive samples of 32 patients were enrolled. They were divided into intervention (n = 16) and control group (n = 16). Paired t-test have been used to examine the effectiveness of acupressure before and after intervention. The results showed a significant difference in blood glucose levels between the intervention group and the control group (t = 4.22; p = 0.001).
