For the first time in Ukrainian film studies, the integration of the professions of producer and director has been systematically studied, which makes it possible to once again confirm the creative nature of production activities. It is established that the integration of the professions of producer and director reflects the processes that are observed in cinema as a whole and are caused by changestaking place in society. It is proved that these factors give new works and features to the work of filmmakers, expand the range of their activities, removing the contradictions both between specific film professions and between mass and auteur cinema.
