Юхим Михайлів — символіст і містик 20–33

One of the personalities who worthily represents Ukraine in the international cultural arena is Yuhym Mykhailiv. The symbolist artist turned in his work to ancient pagan traditions, to  historical artifacts, to meanings and meanings in the interpretation of the evolution of Ukraine, its genesis and types of culture, to the ritual elements of ancient cults. This choice allowed him not only to actualize his artistic thinking, based on symbols and signs, but also to determine the place of national culture in the system of universal coordinates. Important today, give a synthetic analysis of his multifaceted work. And these are not only artistic paintings, but also works of calligraphy, first of all poems, as well as monographic researches, literary-critical articles published in periodicals. The question that it was overlooked by researchers is considered, and if it was mentioned, it is very fleeting. It is about the artist's collaboration with the magazine "Ridny Krai", where he published his poems and where his paintings were reproduced.Letters to the museum worker and poet Trokhim Romanchenko, which are still kept in the archive andawaiting publication and extensive comments, were also analyzed.
