An experimental research and computer modeling airflow and heat transfer of smooth tube and pipe with interceptors, mounted alternately on the right and on the left side of the outer surface, were performed.
It was shown that the arrangement of an artificial three-dimensional flow leads to an intensification of heat transfer in the investigated range of flow velocities.
