Actual continuity-true to identify the origins of the problems of modern Ukraine that will yelp socіal renewal and further progress.The problems of modern Ukraine, societies related to the posttotalitarian state, are analysed in the article. Process of transformation of the totalitarian mode in democratic runs into the row of problems: economic, defiant dissatisfaction of population; by the danger of recoil in the past from - for the presences of radical political forces; aspiring to national or to territorial sovereignty, from - after multinational composition of population; influences of other states, defeat sovereignty of Ukraine.
