The author considers the relationship of financial institutions spatial concentration and investment potential of border territories factors and carries out a comparative analysis of the spatial structure of the system for financial support of business in the border regions of Siberia and the Russian Far East. The author examines the effects of the uneven concentration of financial institutions on regional economic systems.
