The author considers various approaches to the content of the quality of life concept. It is determined that this is a complex and multifaceted category, which includes various indicators of people's life support, guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation. It is emphasized that the vagueness of the quality of life indicators makes it necessary to specify this concept taking into account the economic specifics of the regions.
