The author publishes memoirs of V. Brusov, written by Supreme Institute for Literature and Arts student Margarita Gryuner. It is noteworthy that V. Brusov was the Rector and Professor of the Institute. The publication provides new information on V. Brusov personality, namely, on his interest in the works by Max Bartel, a German poet, translated into Russian by O. Mandelstam.
