The paper is based on the comparative historical research of the four sonnets – interpretations of Don Juan as a literary character by the Silver age poets K. Balmont, V. Brusov, N. Gumilyov, and I. Severyanin. The interpretations of Don Juan as a literary character in the Silver Age sonnets are considered in the context of paradigm of interpretations of the «eternal image» in the world culture, regarding the literary character’s typology and the ways of its artistic expression adopted in the world literature.
