The present article is devoted to the issue of perception and lyrical transformation of Faust’s image in Brusov's poetry of the 1890-1900th. The Faustian beginning performs the modeling function and is directly connected with the idea of a creative way as a spiritual feat of overcoming «the limits» and the constraint of human life in the poet’s early lyrics.
