This article deals with female characters in V. Brusov’s short prose works. The author studies in detail three types of female images, as well as their relations and differences. The analysis explains the evolution of female psychology in both historical and cultural aspects, revealing the artistic methods of V. Brusov, who is not only a writer, but also a psychologist.
