Underscoring that Brusov took a leading role in the process of creation of «the new culture» we would like to again stress that he had no intention to synthesize different arts. Moreover, he denied any connection between art and religion. Brusov’s work on theater studies shaped the Russian theatrical thought of early XX century. His role in the creation of musical and artistic works is also of crucial importance.
