The article is about Valery Brusov’s evaluation of centuries-old armenian poetry - both general characteristics and views of the works of individual poets. It is clear that many of Brusov's estimations are unique with deep insight of Armenian poetry. they have not lost the scientific and critical value a century later and are relevant today
