The article suggests the consideration of the personality of Valery Brusov as the reflection object of Nina Petrovskaya, critic and author of memoirs, who was his lover for several years. Her articles and reviews are analyzed with a description of his prose, poetry and translations . Main attention is given to the transformation of Brusov’s image in her “Recollections”, which are aimed at revealing the myths about the poet as mechanical and prudent figure of the Silver Age. Also the author of these memoirs recreated the atmosphere of the Silver Age, the epoch, .imaged by a pen of one of the vivid representatives of it.
