The article analyses the section “In the country of silence”, which opens the literary cycle “The Green” of Brusov’s book “Seven Colors of the Rainbow”. The conducted analysis allowed to reveal a thematic commonality among the verses of the section that reflect one of the most tragic episodes of the poet’s life.
