The article deals with the European Systemic Risk Board as a new institution of regulatory policy of the European Union. The aim of this work is to analyse using the tools and methods used to realize this policy. The European Systemic Risk Board makes up a macro-prudential pillar in supervising the financial system of the European Union. In this research paper, the most important tools for realization of regulatory policy are shown. There are warnings, confidential warnings and recommendations. Next, the author raises the question of the influence of credibility and responsibility of the Board for realization of regulatory policy. In the last part of the article, the evaluation of the realization of the regulatory policy is discussed and some changes are suggested. In the conclusion, the author shows arguments for and against this hypothesis.
