Separation pain in Mahadevi's poetry

Mahadevi's separation is present in all his poetry. Starting with pain, they are seen searching for their culmination in pain itself. Mahadevi ji's Vedanaubhuti is a spontaneous expression of the conceptual experience. The pain of his poetry has been considered more than the poetic pain of Meera. The life element of Mahadevi's poetry was her pain and suffering. She herself writes, 'Sorrow is such a poem of life near me that has the ability to bind the whole world in one thread. The main theme of his poetry is the eagerness to part with the beloved and find it. In her poetry, Mahadevi has presented the separation of soul and God in the form of Virhanubhuti.   Abstract in Hindi Language: महादेवी का विरह उनके समस्त काव्य में विद्यमान है। वे वेदना से प्रारंभ करके वेदना में ही अपनी परिणति खोजती दिखाई देती हैं। महादेवी जी की वेदनानूभूति संकल्पात्मक अनुभूति की सहज अभिव्यक्ति है। उनकी काव्य की पीड़ा को मीरा की काव्य पीड़ा से बढ़कर माना गया है। महादेवी के काव्य का प्राण तत्व उनकी वेदना और पीड़ा रहे। वे स्वयं लिखती हैं, ‘दुःख मेरे निकट जीवन का ऐसा काव्य है जो सारे संसार को एक सूत्र में बांधने की क्षमता रखता है।’1 महादेवी की विरह वेदना में परम तत्व की अभिव्यक्ति दिखाई  देती है। उनके काव्य का मुख्य प्रतिपाद्य प्रिय से बिछुडना और उसे खोजने की आतुरता है। महादेवी ने अपने काव्य में आत्मा और  परमात्मा के वियोग को विरहानुभूति के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया है। Keywords: विरह वेदना, बिछोह, सात्विकता, स्निग्धता, भावोद्रक।
