Information dissemination patterns and use of libraries make for interesting subject of study, especially when it comes to the pattern displayed by journalists and media professionals. This study was conducted to assess the information seeking behaviour patterns of Newspaper Journalists in Mysore, Karnataka. The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of various information channels, the awareness of the existence of information sources, ways used for disseminating information and use of libraries among the newspaper journalists in Mysore. A well-structured questionnaire was used as instrument of data collection for the study. Data was gathered from 189 newspaper Journalists who belongs working journalists in newspaper Kalaburagi.
