In this introductory editorial, the journal’s Editor-in-Chief looks forward towards the forthcoming tenth journal anniversary year. As part of the celebrations for this coming milestone, two new initiatives are launched, with the first comprising a reader survey and the second a call for papers on the theme of authentic interdisciplinarity. Alongside this, the editorial provides an overview of the articles in the latest issue, which tackle topics including: life in the Italian Alps, schizoanalytic cartography, factual communications, ‘cripping up’, ethical AI frameworks and two extended conversations with noted scholars. It also highlights the inclusion of an updated indexing article covering the past three years included in this issue. The editorial concludes by refreshing readers’ memories on the journal’s general call for papers alongside the various routes to interacting with the title outside of the issues.
