This article reconstructs the syllabic intonations of the dialect that was the basis for Križanić’s works. The main conclusion is that there are two short intonations in his accent system, one of which most likely originates from the Proto-Slavic short neo-acute and which has not been considered to have been directly reflected, until now, in any Slavonic language.
