Summary Diplophonia is an irregular phonatory pattern characterized by the simultaneous production of two pitches. This paper describes the treatment approach provided for a 19‐year‐old college female with diplophonia. The approach, behavioral in nature, was designed to gradually eliminate the diplophonia and subsequently reestablish an appropriate speaking pitch of adequate intensity. The purpose of the paper is solely to provide the clinician with an effective therapy approach for this type of client.
