During the past decade the number of different remedial procedures in tongue thrust have proliferated greatly. The need to improve differential diagnosis, to validate, not necessarily increase, the myriad of treatment and its effectiveness, and to share successful techniques is becoming more apparent. Several questions are raised relevant to the actual existence of the “tongue thrust syndrome”.
