Fifty‐two women were sterilized through laparoscope under local anesthesia with Filshie‐clips. The majority (94%) were satisfied with the method. During the operation three patients were submitted to general anesthesia due to adhesions (two) and inadequate relaxation (one). Admission period and sick leave were reduced to a minimum.
