A case of primary hepatic pregnancy in a 31‐year‐old woman is reported. She underwent laparotomy due to abdominal symptoms suggesting peritonitis. A 2×2 cm large bleeding lesion was found on the upper side of the right lobe of the liver. Microscopic examination of the excised lesion showed chorionic villi and trophoblast cells. The patient made an uneventful recovery.
