. A peak in the occurrence of cancer early in life strongly suggests that the neoplasm has its origins during intra‐uterine development (4). Nevertheless, malignant tumors that cause death to the fetus prena‐tally seem to be very rare. The present case describes a female fetus stillborn at 24 weeks of gestation with a fast‐growing malignant tumor in the right kidney. On reviewing the literature we have not been able to find a similar case.
