The paper discusses various forms of interaction between language and music based on the material of multilingual compositions performed in the popular music TV show «The Voice Russia». It shows that, in combination with a well-thought-out structure and musical accompaniment, multilingual performances can acquire new meanings that were not originally embedded in the original song lyrics.
