The paper analyzes the state of Russian-Chinese interaction on the eastern section of the Russian-Chinese border in the 2020s. It was determined that in the context of changes under COVID-19 pandemic Russia and China continue cross-border cooperation in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. At the same time, the implementation of interaction in traditional formats turned out to be difficult. The ongoing processes have actualized the need for countries to search for new forms and tools that contribute to the mutually beneficial solution of economic and humanitarian problems and co-development.
