The view of representatives of the Kazan theistic school on marriage in the context of philosophical and anthropological problems is presented in the article. The difference in approaches among Orthodox researchers in assessing the interpretation of the nature of Christian marriage is revealed. The “spiritual-moral” and “metaphysical” aspects of marriage in the teaching of Orthodox theists are determined. The understanding of love in marriage from the point of view of Kazan Orthodox philosophers is presented.
