The article deals with German words transplanted into English texts as a translation problem. It examines the types of transplanted words (borrowings and foreign language inclusions), the main views on their translation, methods of introducing German transplanted words into English texts and their functions in texts which belong to different styles, as well as factors influencing the choice of translation strategy and translation methods. In addition, strategies and main methods for translating transplanted German words into Russian are analyzed and a translation algorithm is offered.
