The article contains the result of an analysis of the literature, revealing a view of the responsibility of the individual in law, ethics, philosophy and psychology. The results of empirical research are described, proving that responsibility is a resource of the personality of a professional when it includes the possibility of independent choice of action, independent choice of decisions
