The optimized RHA, by controlled burn orgrinding, has been used as a pozzolanic material in cementand concrete. Using it provides several advantages, such asimproved strength and durability properties, andenvironmental benefits related to the disposal of wastematerials and to reduced carbon dioxide emissions. Up tonow, little research has been done to investigate the use ofRHA as supplementary material in cement and concreteproduction .The main objective of this work is to study thesuitability of the rice husk ash as a pozzolanic material forcement replacement in concrete.
