STUDYING OF EFFICIENCY "DUO EKVALAN" AT HELMINTHOSES OF HORSES

Currently, the problem of helminth infections in horse breeding is relevant in the Tyumen region, and because of the increase in the number of horses, the helminthofauna is increasing too. Helminths of different types make negative mechanical impact on an organism, emit toxins making a pathogenic impact on respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous systems; also, allergic reactions, skin rashes are possible. There is loss of working capacity and reproductive ability, development of various chronic diseases and even death of horses. For the purpose of protection of animals studying of efficiency of the medicine "Ekvalan Duo®" at the mixed invasion at horses is carried out. For the experiment, we selected animals in the amount of 19 heads infested with strongilidosis, alforthiosis, delphinosis. Medicine was applied by an experimental animal orally, on a language root. As a result of our studies, we found that in horses infected with Strongilids, Delfondia, Alfortia there is a significant decrease in the number of eggs and larvae of helminths at the end of the experiment. It is proved that the therapeutic efficiency of the combined anthelminthic medicine "Ekvalan Duo®" in a dose of 0.013 g/kg against nematodes, cestode, ascarids at horses is 98.06%. It should be noted that "Ekvalan Duo®" in a therapeutic dose is well tolerated by horses and has no side effects on the organism of animals.
