Objetiva-se compreender a intersubjetividade entre enfermeiros e idosos sobre sexualidade no contexto da consultade enfermagem. Pesquisa qualitativa, de abordagem fenomenológica sociológica de Alfred Schutz. Os participantesforam 26 enfermeiros. Sendo o cenário, a unidade acadêmica docente-assistencial Instituto de Atenção à Saúde SãoFrancisco de Assis - Rio de Janeiro - Brasil e Escola Superior de Saúde – Instituto Politécnico da Guarda – Portugal. Aanálise da contextualização do motivo-porque e suas categorias. – Ideias pré-concebidas entre enfermeiros e idosos;Interpretações de sexualidade e sexo entre enfermeiros e idosos; Aspectos culturais envolvidos entre enfermeiros eidosos. Concluí-se que a ausência de interpretação correta entre o signifi cado de sexualidade e sexo contribui parao entendimento de cuidado clínico preventivo, apenas em relação às patologias ligadas ao sexo.Palavras-chave: Enfermagem; Idoso; Sexualidade.
ABSTRACTThe aim is to understand the intersubjectivity between nurses and the elderly about sexuality in the nursingconsult context. A qualitative research, with a sociological phenomenological approach by Alfred Schutz. Theparticipants were 26 nurses. The scenario was the academic unit of teaching and health care Institute of HealthCare São Francisco de Assis - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and Higher School of Health - Instituto Politécnico da Guarda- Portugal. The analysis of the contextualization of why-why and its categories. - Pre-conceived ideas betweennurses and the elderly; Interpretations of sexuality and sex between nurses and the elderly; Cultural aspectsinvolved between nurses and the elderly. It concludes that the lack of correct interpretation between the meaningof sexuality and sex contributes to the preventive clinical care understanding, only in relation to the pathologiesrelated to sex.Keywords: Nursing; Aged; Sexuality.
