The purpose of the work is to acquaint Russian specialists with the general specifics of the requirements of foreign scientific publishing houses for the preparation of scientific articles, as well as with the basic algorithmic methods of formalizing the presentation of information for its publication in Englishlanguage scientific journals. The article is the first in a cycle of publications devoted to this problem. In re-search methods of the analysis, synthesis, comparison and algorithmization of processes are used. The result of the research is a system of algorithms for forming the content of individual sections of scientific articles in the IMRAD format, following which allows the authors to overcome the psychological barrier in presenting the results of their research to foreign readers.
