The original algorithm for the search of the shortest way the application of which contributes to the reduction of supplementary time at the expense of the decrease of tool idling is presented. There are considered other algorithms for the search of the shortest way and their comparative analysis is carried out. The objective data on advantages of the algorithm presented in finding the shortest way on a plane are presented.
