E.L.Cabral y Borreria crispata (K. Schum.) E.L.Cabral y Bacigalupo presentan. Un nuevo estatuto y un nuevo nombre se proponen para Borreria burchellii ; se dan observaciones taxonómicas sobre Borreria tenera DC
