The role and contribution of E. Syxt in historical and geographical study of mineral waters and spa resorts in Galicia in second half of the early seventeenth century were considered. Creative heritage of scientist was fixed on basis of retrospectively-geographical analysis of features of development and territorial organization of Calician resorts that period.
