The results of the burozems humus condition under the beech virgin forest of the Carpathians biosphere reserve are submitted (on the example of Ugolsko-Shyrokoluzhanskyi and Chornogirskyi mountain ridges). Conducted comparative description of burozems under beech, oak-beech, spruce virgin forest, beech and sycamore-oak forest and turf territory without the trees of the Carpathians biosphere reserve.
