An attempt was made to present the state and the characteristic of the nature conservation in Poland. Mainly in that part which deals with inanimate nature objects; systematizing the experience of our neighbors by adapting existing organizational forms to the new forms introducted in the world, to show the most interesting of the existing classifications and principles of their creation. Key words: forms of nature conservation, geoconservation, geodiversity, geotop, geoparks, geotourism.
